Does your child love fairies, if so a great idea for their party would be a Fairy Garden Party or an Enchanted Forest Celebration. ( Don’t worry they don’t have to have outdoor parties, we don’t always have sun!!) Here are some magical ideas to bring their fairy dreams to life:
Theme ideas for your fairy party
Enchanted Forest Setting
Unless you live next door to an enchanted forest it is best to create your own – use artificial vine, fairy lights and flower garlands, and before you know it the magic is there!
I found this digital download on Etsy, so you can make your own decor.
Toadstools & Mushrooms
These is a great theme because there are loads of toadstool and mushroom themed items. I love these mushroom shaped balloons.
Fairy house and butterflies
Other decorations you could try include setting up some fairy doors and houses, and hanging up paper butterflies.
I like these paper butterflies from Amazon, the children could decorate them themselves.
Activities & Entertainment
Make your own fairy wings
The kids would love to have fairy wings, so why not make an area where they can make their own, You could have cut outs and stickers etc
Fairy Wand making station
The fairies will need a wand, so you could provide sticks, ribbons and star shapes.
You could buy a wand making set like this one from Amazon.
Fairy Treasure Hunt
Hide small “fairy treasures” (glow-in-the-dark stones, tiny trinkets, or fairy dust jars) around the party area.
A printable hunt like this one from Etsy would help you make it really fun.
Fairy faces
Face painting is always fun, and even some temporary tatoos! You could set up a table with the face paints, and find an artistic friend to paint them on the children. Things like flowes and butterflies.
You can get kids face paints from Amazon, like this one, Rainbow faces.
Food and Drink
More than fairy cakes!
One great ingredient is edible glitter – find it at the cake section of your local supermarket, then you can turn everything into magical food!
I really love this fairy partyware cups, plates and napkins set from Amazon. Any food eaten off these will be magical!
Party favors
Little gifts to give to guests
It’s now usual to send the guests home with a little gift at the end of the party. Fairy themed gifts cou;d include, little fairy dolls, flower crowns, butterfly stickers etc.
Children do like sweets, so this little personalised treat bag would make a great small parting gift.
Fairy Party Invitations
