Hosting a sip and paint party is a fantastic way to unleash your inner artist while enjoying good company and perhaps a cheeky glass of wine or two! Whether you’re a seasoned painter or someone who’s never picked up a brush, this guide will help you throw a memorable bash. Let’s get started!

- Decide and set a Date and Time:
- Choose a date and time that works for you and your friends. Depending on who you are inviting, weekends or evenings are usually when most people are available.
2. Select a Venue:
- Decide whether you want to host the party at your home, a rented venue, or even at a pub that offers sip and paint events.
3. Choose a Theme or Painting:
- Select a theme or specific painting that will serve as the focus of the event. You might have someone in your local area that comes out to parties to instuct the painting, or you might want to try instructing the painting yourself. You can find painting kits on line that also have a video to make it easier.
4. Gather Painting Supplies:
- Make sure you have all the necessary painting supplies for your guests, including canvases, paintbrushes, paints, easels, palettes, aprons, and paper towels, (lots of paper towels!)

- Since it’s a sip and paint party, be sure to provide a variety of drinks for your guests to enjoy while they paint. This could include wine, beer, cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks, and water. Also, consider providing some snacks to keep everyone fueled during the event.
- You might want some plastic glasses, and bear in mind some guests will stick their paint brushes in the wine glass and drink the paint water. Yes this happens!
6. Send Out Invitations:
- Once you have all the details sorted out, send out invitations to your guests. You can use traditional paper invitations, e-vites, or create a Facebook event.

- Once everyone has finished painting, set up a gallery area to display all the artwork. Take photos to commemorate the event and allow guests to take their paintings home as souvenirs. You could vote on the top painting and have a fun prize, such as an artists hat.
